Easter Scavenger Hunt Game & Lesson for Children and Teens | Investigate the Crucifixion | Matthew 27 | Christian Game and Bible Lesson

Be prepared to enter into  the most epic Easter Scavenger Hunt your church kids and teens have ever played. Players work together to hunt for a total of 48 Puzzle Parts (which will be taped together to create 8 Unique Pieces of Evidence). After all the evidence has been gathered together, players will then turn on their flashlights and look up into the sky! For all the clues to decoding the questions on the back of each piece of evidence is written in the Star Clues taped or hung up in the sky (ceiling)!

Once all 4 of the encrypted questions have been decoded, the game is complete and the mission has been cleared! Players can then be led through a post-game lesson.

Post-Game Lesson

(1) This game and lesson can be ran as a single session/special event. For this arrangement, the Scavenger Hunt will take around 30-60 minutes. And the post-game (condensed) lesson plan (which is included) will take 30 minutes to teach.

(2) Alternatively, this game and lesson can be run as a 4-part mini-game and lesson series. Each week, your players/students will hunt for Puzzle Parts that combine together to create 2 Pieces of Evidence. This mini-scavenger hunt will take around 10-30 minutes to play. A full comprehensive 30 minute lesson (which is included) will then be taught. These lessons will fully flush out the meaning behind each piece of evidence that is found. This game mode is the ideal model for busy Sunday School Teachers who want to have a full month of activity and lessons already prepared in one single (4-part) package!

To make this game even more fun and exciting, we recommend hiding Easter Eggs  or other Easter treats for your players to find as they look for evidence pieces and star clues! This game can also be played in the dark, while players use flashlights to search for clues.
